FAQ - CUM Books

Q: How can I find out what the status is on my order?
A: After logging in, you can see the status of all your orders from your account.

Q: How long do I have to wait before I will receive my order?
A: If we have the item in stock, it would take about 7 to 14 days. It may take longer
    if we have to try and source it when our suppliers are out of stock or the item
    is not available anymore.

Q: What is an eBook?
A: The “e” in eBook stands for electronic, just like the “e” in e-mail. You can
    download and read an eBook on your computer as well as a wide variety of
    eBook readers.

    The advantage of an eBook is that it allows you to carry a large number
    of books with you in one eBook reader. When you go on holiday, you
    will be able to carry literally hundreds of books without feeling its weight
    in your luggage.

    To gain access to the world of eBooks, you need the following:

  • Internet access to download your eBooks and eBook reader software
  • any electronic device capable of reading eBooks

Q: In which formats are CUM Books’ eBooks available?
A: CUM Books’ eBooks are available in both ePub and PDF formats.

     Below is a list of a few eBook readers and the formats they support:

  • iPhone, iPad en iPod Touch

     The following formats are supported:

-     Adobe PDF eBook format (.pdf file extension) – software needs to be downloaded

-     ePub eBook format (.epub file extension) – software needs to be downloaded

  • Macintosh Computer

      The following formats are supported:

-     Adobe PDF eBook format (.pdf file extension) – software needs to be downloaded

-     ePub eBook format (.epub file extension) – software needs to be downloaded

  • Windows Computer

      The following formats are supported:

-     Adobe PDF eBook format (.pdf file extension) – software needs to be downloaded

-     ePub eBook format (.epub file extension) – software needs to be downloaded

     Please note: The correct software is required to read eBooks in these formats.

Q: How do I buy eBooks?
A: Click on the eBook link on CUM Books’ website. There you will find a complete list of
    all CUM Books’ eBooks. Select your desired title and Follow the on screen instructions.

Q: Are eBooks accessible to users who don’t own eBook readers?
A: Yes, eBooks can be read on computers through Adobe Digital Editions.
    The software is available for a free download at

Q: Can a user print books that were downloaded electronically?
A: No, the printing of books in electronic format is not allowed.

Q: How will I receive the eBook that I have purchased?
A: As soon as CUM receives the payment for the eBook an e-mail with a download link
    for the eBook will be sent to you.

Q: When will I receive my eBook if I pay via EFT?
A: As soon as CUM receives your EFT payment, you will receive confirmation of payment
    as well as an e-mail with the download link for the eBook purchased.

Q: How do I submit a manuscript for possible publication?
A: SUBMITTING A MANUSCRIPT FOR POSSIBLE PUBLICATION

  • If you would like to submit a manuscript for possible publication, please send us a printed copy of the manuscript.  No manuscripts will be accepted via e-mail or on disk.
  • There are no requirements regarding the format, layout or font-size, but text should be easily legible.
  • The manuscript will be evaluated by a knowledgeable panel to determine if it meets the company’s publication requirements.
  • We will immediately acknowledge receipt of the manuscript and will notify you within three months whether it has been accepted for publication.
  • Please include the following information with your manuscript:
    • Your contact details, physical address and e-mail address.
    • A concise CV.
    • A short summary of the contents of your manuscript of no more than 300 words.
  • No rejected manuscripts will be returned. Should you wish to have your manuscript returned, please include a prepaid envelope with the manuscript.
  • Due to the many unsolicited manuscripts that Christian Art Publishers continuously receives, no communication about the reasons for rejection will be entered into, and unfortunately no training or guidance for prospective authors is given.
